Yes, this is the tricky part. First of all, use less or no lubricant. If the balloon wants to pop out, this is a sign that it is placed in exactly the right spot! If it stays in by itself, this means that it is inserted too deeply and you are not stretching the right place. The best thing to do is to have your partner assist you with holding it inside. If not, try on your side in fetal position or on your back. You do need to use strength to hold the balloon inside. If it pops out after a few minutes, that's OK, just put it back in and do it again.
